Brother Charles 'Charlie' Krajcsik rest in peace wgf 5/29/06

Charles "Charlie" Krajcsik Charles "Charlie" Krajcsik, age 83, of Mechanicsburg, died Friday, May 26, 2006 at Holy Spirit Hospital. Born October 1, 1922, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Charles and Helen Borocz Krajcsik, and was also preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette G. (Lentini) and his brother, Rudolph. Surviving are his three sons, Charles M. Krajcsik and his wife, Maria of Scotch Plains, NJ, William A. Krajcsik and wife, Tamara of Dillsburg, and Stephen J. Krajcsik and wife, Janet of Mechanicsburg; and four wonderful grandchildren, Jessica, Dana, Joseph and Anthony. Charles was a graduate of Catholic High School (now Bishop McDevitt High School), Class of 1941. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1944 and served in the Pacific Region during World War II. After the war, he was employed at the Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown and retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot in 1980. He was a member and former usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and also a member of VFW Post 6704, American Legion Post 109, Knights of Columbus and the Mechanicsburg Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday in his church, with the Rev. Chester P. Snyder as celebrant. There will be a viewing from 2- 4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.
