THE COUNCIL WILL MEET WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 18 AT THE WEST SHORE ELKS ON ST. JOHN'S CHURCH ROAD. THE MEETING BEGINS AT 7 PM.
A press release from the Knights of Columbus Supreme Office announced that the federal court in New Hampshire has ruled that the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance do not violate any constitutional provisions.

Rev Mr. Dwight D. Schlaline, studying at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, will be ordained to the temporary Deaconate on October 8, 2009. Rev. Mr. Schlaline is from Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Abbotstown.
